A Bump Diary is shared between you and the people you invite. These rules cover everything you add: photos, videos, captions, comments, letters and names. They are part of our terms of use.

Be kind

Pregnancy is a big thing to go through. Write to each other the way you'd want to be written to.

Not allowed

• Threats, bullying, harassment or abuse of anyone.
• Hate towards people because of who they are.
• Sexual or pornographic content. Bump and scan photos are welcome; this is a pregnancy diary.
• Any sexual content involving children, ever.
• Photos or details of other people shared without their agreement.
• Anything illegal, or that encourages self-harm or harm to others.
• Adverts, spam, or pretending to be someone else.

How we check

• Anyone in a diary can report a moment or a comment: press and hold it and choose Report.
• Comments are checked automatically against a list of words, on our own server. A match never blocks your comment; it asks our team to take a look.
• Our team reviews every report and every automatic flag.

What happens if the rules are broken

• We may hide or remove the content.
• We may pause the account. A paused account can still export its diary or be deleted.
• We report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it.
