For partners
Pregnancy is for two
Bump Diary gives partners their own phone, their own tips each week, and the same diary: every bump photo, the baby's size, the appointments and the hospital bag. The person who's pregnant chooses what else to share.
What you see
- Each day's bump photo, with reactions and comments
- The baby's week and size, and a daily story with a card just for partners
- Shared plans: hospital, appointments, hospital bag and birth plan
- Baby names you both like, and the contraction timer, live on both phones
What stays theirs
- Check-ins are private, unless they share a day
- Movements are shared unless they switch it off
- Blood pressure and weight never leave their phone
- Only the person who's pregnant logs check-ins and movements
Leave and pay: see paternity pay and leave and Shared Parental Leave on GOV.UK. You usually need to tell your employer by the 15th week before the due week.
